Kenisha Sukhwal

Q: Where did you get your idea from? What does it represent?
A: I was inspired by children’s books, the dreamy feel they have, and clouds. I was talking to my sister about brainstorming so I made a brain storm.

Q: What technologies, software and processes did you use?
A: I tried Blender and didn’t really get the results I wanted so I switched to Sculptgl. I used the inflate, smooth, and crease tools to get the brain texture, and a file from Womp3D for the lightning. I tried uploading the lightning and brain into blender to connect them and it didn’t work for me so I used Sculptgl for that too.

Q: What challenges did you encounter? What would you do differently next time?
A: I had a lot of challenges trying to work with blender. Next time I would not give up so soon and I would watch more tutorials on surface textures.

Q: What did you learn?
A: I learned a lot about using 3D modeling software to create texture and shape.

Q: What are you most proud of?
A: I am most proud of the clouds. When I first started I had a lot of trouble with shards and the shape not working. I used the smooth tool over every single little part to fix that.
